I purchased your RAW version of PP then downloaded the Nikon .nef portrait to be touched up. The downloaded .nef file in PP was grayed down and lacked the color and sharpness from the original .nef portrait. The image was unsatisfactory and not usable.

After converting the .nef file to a .tiff file the image was downloaded in PP. The touchup was successful and complete.

What am I doing wrong? I am using a Nikon D300 camera.

Please advise.
