From the comments in this thread it appears that V8.0 is no longer in Beta. Is this in fact the case ?

That is the case. V8 is now released.

Thanks Tony. Will my v8 Beta self destruct at some time ?
Ignore this ........ I've just checked Help > About and see it will die on 31 July.
