I recently purchashed Portrait Professional 9.8 and think it is a very good product. However, I do a great portion of my work on my desktop, but I find that there are times...especially when meeting with clients that the software could be used to assist me in these meetings. Most software programs that I am familiar with, and I am familiar with many, allow at least, the installation of the product on two computers. This software does not. Is this something that should be considered? Food for thought. Great software, and I certainly understand the need to restrict licensing, to a degree, but for those of us that need just a little flexibility, it would be wonderful if consideration could be given to this situation. Any thoughts out there relating to this topic?

Using thinapp with a thumbdrive would break the license agreement. This is the first paragraph of the agreement:
(a) You may install and use the Software on a single computer; OR install and store the Software on a storage device, such as a network server, used only to install the Software on your other computers over an internal network, provided you have a license for each separate computer on which the Software is installed and run.

I just purchased the software as well. I think that it would be good to be able to have it on a second machine. I use my laptop when I am on the road and I use my desktop at home. I also use photoshop and lightroom. Adobe allows 2 licenses. I wish that it was possible here as well.

I use a Windows notebook machine ... plus an iMac. Therefore I'd really apreciate a "two machine cross-platform licence" (just like DXO, CaptureOne, Lightroom and many others).
