Tom,

Good start for just 4 hrs.

Just a quick look at the finished image I see 2 situations.
1. Male forehead is blown out.
2. Male nose is also blown out.

Other than those 2, at a quick glance, I did not see other situations in the image.

Cool

Tom, I am just wondering, are you using RAW or JPG file for editing?

If you are using RAW, I would suggest you try to feed JPG straight into PP.

Set skin smoothing a bit lower - perhaps by half. Adjust the tan slider a little to the left.

Slim her face a little bit. Using the "Before and After" screen, go to the "Before" and adjust (click and drag) the outlines.

This may be a bit late to answer, but here it goes;

i think the main problems with this image are:
blown highlights and over saturation of the skin colors.

have you tried to make those faces look like you were looking at them in person? looking real?

re. my previous post above, i downloaded your image and did some work on it with PP12;
mind you, i have had the program only for a few days, so you will surely find many things to correct on top of what i've done here, like the haiirline, mainly for the man.

hope you like it!
