What steps do I need to take to keep my uploaded image numbers(and then exported) intact? The original photo image number are references and I need to maintain them. Right now, my photos are being renumbered by PP when they are exported.

I'd appreciate any advice on this subject, as I can't seem to find it in the program's help section.

On my system, the number is always maintained but was suffixed with "_pp" as it was set in File->Settings. So, not sure why your system renumber your image.
