After a HDD failure I have had to rebuild my system. Now when I try to install the PP plugin in Photoshop CS5 I get an empty folder called PSFilterPPLauncher64.8bf installed rather than a plugin file.
I'm bemused because when I originally installed PP about a year ago everything worked fine.
Any suggested solutions would be gratefully received as I'm fast running out of hair to tear out!!

If you want to do it manually, I think, that 8BF file just needs to be a file in c:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS5 (64 Bit)\Plug-ins. Maybe just copy it there?

Thanks Slynky. I actually updated to 10.7 and used the Install Photoshop Plug-in wizard which worked fine.

Ahhh, good to hear.
I've had mine, oh, I don't know, maybe a year now, and when I got it and installed, the 64-bit version failed to install correctly and the ticket help I got from Anthropics walked me through installing manually.
See you in "Critiques" !
