Admin, I have a way to stop all the signature links from the spammers.
With the MyBB plug in below you can set x amount of posts that have to be made before a user can add a url to their signature. The plug in info is below.

How about moderating the first post of anyone who signs up.
If it's spam, ban them then.
It's easier than chasing after more posts later on.

I'm a forum owner, and administrate a couple of other forums, and some of the spammers will post one word answers to get around that. vBulletin allows me to one-touch ban and delete all of their posts if they turn out to be spammers.
The beauty of reality is that we are masters of its creation.
