which is shown in the manuals. licensed MAX version. Please advise. Thx.

Hi,

Sorry about that, the manuals have not yet been updated for version 6.5. We have moved the functionality. The skin extent can now be set by clicking on "Change Skin Selection Area" button under the skin sliders. There is a little more explanation of the skin selection areas there too.
