PP 12 PLUGINS NOT INSTALLING
#1
I recently upgraded from the top-of-the-line 64-bit edition Version 11 to Version 12. Though the standalone version works, none of the plugins are being installed into Ptotoshop CS6, CC or Lightroom 4 or 5. I've even tried installing the plugins from the preferences menu of the standalone version. Also, when I launch Photoshop and try to edit a photo withPP12, the old version appears.

Thanks for any suggestions to fix this.

I fixed my issue.

I'm running Mac OSX Mavericks. I tried installing v12 over v11 but v11 kept showing in Photoshop CS6. Then I googled 'Uninstall Portrait Professional' and found this link:
http://www.portraitprofessional.com/support/?qid=70

I found two PP apps in my Applications folder. I moved version 11 to the trash, then clicked on the Portrait Pro app. That brought up the v12 registration dialog box.

I then started PS and sure enough it was v12. I'm guessing that when PS opens it looks for the first occurrence of Portrait Pro and uses that, which just happened to be the old one.

Hope this helps.

Encountered the same problem. Simple fix - uninstall any previous version of PP. I had both V.10 and V.11 on my PC.
PP V.12 now runs correctly.
Anthropics needs to consider modifying their install wizard to remove all older components as a function of the install program.
