Returning RAW to Lightroom ? - Quincy - 04-15-2017
Lightroom does not provide for passing RAW files to external editors. Most other apps get around this by asking the user if they'd prefer to open the RAW (NEF in this case) file instead of the TIF file passed from LR. Unfortunately Portrait Pro does not appear to do this (and should).
To get around this I had hoped that the OpenDirectly LR plugin would work. It does successfully pass the RAW file to Portrait Pro but it then gets saved as a TIF, completely eliminating the benefits of editing in RAW (and with quite bad color changes).
How can I get Portrait Pro to save it as the NEF that was passed to it from LR/OpenDirectly?
