Any recommendations on how to accommodate photos that need to be enhanced when the subjects are wearing sun glasses/shades. How can I get around using the eye selection points to do this?

When plotting the facial point, plot the eye points as normal and then you select Next you can always disable the eye controls by selecting the green circle next to it.
It's also worth checking that the skin mask is not over lapping over the sunglasses by opening the Skin Smoothing controls > View/Edit area

If you used the Face sculpting tools, select 'Restore glasses shape' to avoid any distortion on the glasses.
