Crashing in pps 21.2? - bhgm productions - 04-18-2014 I have submitted a support ticket but thought i would ask here as well... I have purchased PPS 12 and have upgraded to 12.2 and this on a freshly new created pc. I am running: windows 7 64bit version Asus Z87 Sabertooth MOBO Intel Core i7-4770k CPU @ 3.50Hz 3.50 GHz 32GB Corsair Vengeance RAM The program opens, then i click the "Open Image" button, select an image (tried both JPG and NEF (Nikon RAW files) and the image starts opening and then crashes giving me this error: Problem signature: Problem Event Name: APPCRASH Application Name: PortraitProStudio.exe Application Version: 12.2.0.9 Application Timestamp: 533df266 Fault Module Name: PortraitProStudio.exe Fault Module Version: 12.2.0.9 Fault Module Timestamp: 533df266 Exception Code: c000001d Exception Offset: 000000000055f2bd OS Version: 6.1.7600.2.0.0.256.1 Locale ID: 1033 Additional Information 1: b562 Additional Information 2: b562ef84573d38e09d80e7c3fcc0ec2d Additional Information 3: 7211 Additional Information 4: 7211333e072e560c192fc580f7302a8a Read our privacy statement online: http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=104288&clcid=0x0409 If the online privacy statement is not available, please read our privacy statement offline: C:\Windows\system32\en-US\erofflps.txt Anyone else have this problem by chance or know what this is? Thanks for any help you might give for a fellow photo editor as i have clients that are waiting for a job that i have to use this program on and now in limbo! ![]() Kai C. BHGM Productions RE: Crashing in pps 21.2? - tebogan - 04-18-2014 If you have not already tried it, I would remove / uninstall the program. Then go to the email that gave you the url to download and reinstall. If you do not have access to the email, you can go to: http://www.portraitprofessional.com/licenses/ You should get a reply from someone on the trouble ticket side ASAP, but there may be a delay due to various holidays and the weekend is upon us. RE: Crashing in pps 21.2? - bhgm productions - 04-19-2014 Thanks Tebogan. I tried uninstall and restart pc and re-install the program all to no avail. Now, i went to try the plugin for Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom (V4.4) after i set it up from tutorials ad it worked? So, then just out of curiosity, i tried the stand alone again and...it works! Not sure but i guess there was corruption with the plugin not being used from last install or something? Anyways, it seems to work now and will update my ticket, thanks and happy easter! ![]() RE: Crashing in pps 21.2? - tebogan - 04-19-2014 Glad that it worked for you. Happy Easter to you and have fun with your PP program. |
