Debugger Detected - tommytomaso - 01-08-2007

Since I have installed version 4.0.22 I have had a problem loading images. When I try to change to a different directory to load a picture I get an error message saying there is a debugger detected and to turn it off. I do not know what to turn off. This only happens when I am using Portrait Pro. If I try to change to another directory using any other program this does not happen. Any suggestions?
Best,
Tommy

It looks like you are seeing the problem described here
http://www.eggheadcafe.com/ng/microsoft.public.win32.programmer.directx.sdk/post21050601.asp

It's down to a bug in nero vision express. The solution is to choose "start", then "run" and paste in this:

regsvr32 /u "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Ahead\DSFilter\NeVideo.ax"

Thanks,
That did the trick. One curious thing though, when I try to load an image from a directory that I was not working in before but switched to so I could load in a different image, my computer just seems to hang up and then I have to do a Ctrl Alt Del and end the program, when I return to that same directory again after, the images are available to load in.
Best,
Tommy
