Cannot Export Images - wlebel - 04-08-2011
I'm a new user to Portrait Professional and can't figure out how to export my images. I've looked under "file" and there are options to save but not to export. Please advise on how to do this and also some general "workflow" info would be appreciated. Thanks!

Some software differentiates between saving in their own format and exporting in other people's format. We, amongst others, don't make that differentiation. All the ways of writing a file to disk are called save. Save as a session will allow you to re-edit in PP. Save as a jpg or tiff allows you to open up the result in other software.
As for workflow, do all your white balance, etc first before loading into PP if you don't find the Picture Controls in PP are enough. Always do black and white conversion afterwards though as it colour is used a lot in PP's processing.
