Has this become obsolete? I'd like to transfer my license from a Windows XP to a Windows 7 installation on the same machine (dual boot), but the License Manager just shows me the details of my license and some links for downloading the latest version and upgrading to Studio 64, followed by a small form for entering an upgrade token. There's no deactivation link in the software itself, either.

Can I just install the program as usual, enter my license token, and that's it? I'd just try it, but switching from one Windows installation to the other and back all the time (I have a lot of software that I need for my job, and while preparing the Windows 7 installation I'm still working with XP) is quite time-consuming...

Thanks in advance!

Cheers,
Jan

Yes this thread from 2007 has now become obsolete. This was for versions 4 and 5 of Portrait Professional that needed to use a server every time a picture was processed. As part of the process we had then it was also possible to use that server to transfer licenses that could then be validated as new pictures were processed.

Transferring of licenses since then has become a simple process involving opening a support ticket, as shown in the faq: http://www.portraitprofessional.com/support/?qid=33

thanks,
