Have been using PP for several months now. Last 2 weeks I noticed a reddish tinge on the shadow side of portraits. It is frustrating . I have to take the image into LR and correct it.
I don't know where I have messed the software.
Please ..any help would be appreciated

The red tint may be caused by different color profiles used between Portriat Pro and Lightroom. I would suggest changing your color profile so that you are using Adobe RGB 1998 for both Portrait Pro and Lightroom.
