I don't know if this is related to PP10 or previous versions as well, I have only noticed it in 10.
If I bring a monochrome picture into PP10 sometimes, not always, when I use the touch up brush it paints over the image in colour (the same purple as the default skin selection colour) rather than in the (monochrome) skin tone.
If I go into skin selection, sometimes it is not detecting all of the skin, maybe because its in monochrome but if I choose extend and fill in the missing areas it just ruins the colours and textures, making them look like colours have been reduced from 8bit.
My thoughts are that PP is looking for skin tones and because the pic is monochrome it has trouble.
Any ideas?
Darren.
