Suggestion for Version 9—edge darkening - johnabe - 04-05-2009

Since you mentioned on another thread that you are working on Version 9, I thought I'd make a suggestion for an enhancement I'd like to see.  I know in PhotoShop, which I don't have, you can do vignetting.  I would like to be able to put a slightly darkened soft edge around many portraits.  This seems to lend a feel of elegance, in my opinion.  You wouldn't want to use it on high key shots, but on most others it adds an impression of a higher quality photo.  I hope you'll consider it.  Thanks.

Interesting idea. It'll probably not make it into version 9, as we've locked down our feature list now, but I'll add it to the user requests list.
