Portrait Pro Forums

I am about to purchase Portrait Professional and have being reading the forums to try and learn as much as I can before going ahead.

Could you please tell me if I need to be connected to the Internet to actually use Portrait Professional? I only have satellite connection and am concerned that this might be a problem. I am also concerned that being a learner I will be rather slow and there may be a time out or connection drop out before I am finished with my image.

Another question could you please tell me the size of the download.

You do not have to be connected to the internet to use Portrait Professional. In very old versions you did, but not for a few years. You do need an internet connection to download and install Portrait Professional, but after running it for the first time, there is no requirement, so no need to worry about loosing a connection. The download for Portrait Professional is around 30 mb.
