You guys need to get a handle on this problem....the spam is bad enough...but folks posting porno photos on here is not exceptable....if you have to get someone on here to monitor this forum 24/7... Then that is what you need to do...it's a shame that you can't go to a product's forum and have to shield the screen from a child that walks into the room.
There are ways to screen posts before they go live!
I agree Kat999.  I don't have any children here but seeing porn on this forum offends me.  There's a function of the Bulletin Board software which allows the "screening" of posts before they're allowed to "go live" so to speak.  But, I believe one has to have Admin rights to be able to implement it.

Have just found out from another forum Admin that the forum software is set up so that the first 5 posts made by any new user/s have to be approved by a moderator before they're allowed to "go live."
The software being used is different to the software on this forum but there must be a similar function Anthropics can use.

Something needs to be done as I am on the verge of giving up with these forums, it seems the Admins have given up already ther are spammers that have not been banned and have been posting for days
knock knock. anyone home. the amount of spams is just getting ridiculous. have reported quite a bit but to me like no action have being taken on the reports as well.
Sad...two of the spammers have over 100 posts from the weekend...doesn't the company realize a reliable forum is a prerequisite for getting reliable members and posts? I don't want to check new posts only to see nothing but spam.

When are you going to do something about it?
For the last week I have been trying out a major upgrade to the forum code that makes fighting spam a lot easier. I completed the upgrade about 30 minutes ago so from now on expect less spam.

thanks,
Gary

Let's keep our fingers crossed.
We are keeping an eye on what is going on and where needed, taking care of the matter.
I went through last week and deleted all the old entries that I could find.
If you happen to find a post that you feel is spam, please mark it for us and we will take care of the item.
